12-Day Morocco Adventure – From Marrakech

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Arrival at Marrakech airport. Transfer to your hotel and free evening in Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech → Casablanca → Rabat

Drive to Casablanca to visit Hassan II Mosque. Continue to Rabat to see Hassan Tower, Oudaya Kasbah, and Mohammed V Mausoleum. Overnight in Rabat.

Day 3: Rabat → Chefchaouen

Travel north through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the enchanting Blue City. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 4: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes

Visit Volubilis Roman ruins and Meknes (Bab Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum). Continue to Fes. Overnight in Fes.

Day 5: Fes

Guided city tour of Fes: medina, tanneries, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Museum, and artisan souks. Overnight in Fes.

Day 6: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga

Cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and cedar forests. Continue through the Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga for a sunset camel trek into the dunes. Overnight in a desert camp.

Day 7: Merzouga → Zagora (Draa Valley)

Enjoy sunrise in the Sahara. Travel via Erfoud and Rissani through the scenic Draa Valley to Zagora. Overnight in Zagora.

Day 8: Zagora → Tafraout (Anti-Atlas)

Drive through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, visiting Berber villages and painted rocks. Overnight in Tafraout.

Day 9: Tafraout → Agadir

Travel via Tiznit to Agadir. Afternoon free to relax on the beach. Overnight in Agadir.

Day 10: Agadir → Essaouira

Drive along the Atlantic coast, stopping at surf villages and argan cooperatives. Arrive in Essaouira. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 11: Essaouira → Marrakech

Morning exploration of Essaouira (medina, ramparts, port), then drive inland to Marrakech (~3 hrs). Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 12: Marrakech (Departure)

Free time for last shopping or sightseeing before your airport transfer.
